YWCA Oklahoma City raises sexual assault awareness with 5K run

OKLA. CITY — April is Sexual Assault Awareness month and YWCA Oklahoma City will have its fifth annual 2-Minute 5K on April 20. The event aims to prevent future assaults by raising awareness in Oklahoma communities and all proceeds will go toward YWCA’s programs to help victims of sexual assault.

Online registration is open until 5 p.m. Thursday at Registration is $20 for adults and $10 for children participating in the Kiddie K 1-kilometer race. Registration also can be completed on the day of the event beginning at 8 a.m. and will cost $30 for adults or $15 for children.
