The Oklahoma Health Equity Campaign (OHEC) will meet to discuss self management of chronic health conditions on Thursday, June 27, from 2-4 p.m. at the Oklahoma State Department of Health (OSDH), 1000 NE 10th St., room 806, Oklahoma City. The meeting will also highlight the OHEC Position Statement on Health and Housing and recent partner developments in promoting affordable and accessible housing.
The six-week community workshops are offered at various locations across the state at no charge and are tailored to reach persons 60 years and older and their caregiver. Persons who are living with various chronic health conditions such as diabetes, arthritis, high blood pressure, heart disease, chronic pain and anxiety, can benefit the most from participating in the community workshops.
