EDMOND — Local residents came to downtown Edmond to paint and support Transformed by Christ, a place of grace where people are learning together the art of living loved and loving well.

Transformed by Christ Ministries, 119 S. Broadway, is headed by Renee Brunette. Friday evening, the ministry had a paint party led by local artist Jay Tracey, who works for Paint Your Art Out, 10 S. Broadway. A fundraiser, which involved some great raffle items, benefited Transformed by Christ and Paint Your Art Out.

Transformed by Christ is a nonprofit organization that began in January 2008 out of a passion to demonstrate the transforming power of God’s extravagant love, Brunette said.

The organization seeks to help people transition into a life of hope and freedom, Brunette said. The ministry’s desire is to see people break free from emotional pain, relational brokenness and life defeating behaviors.
