Silent no more

EDMOND — To the Editor:

As I agonize over the daily deterioration of this once glorious and freedom-loving United States of America, I search for understanding of how we reached this point of our decline! I think of the old adage: “All it takes for evil is for good people to do nothing.”

And in this case, I consider the good people to be all the legal citizens, regardless of party, who love our country and its way of life, even those who foolishly voted for President Obama. Those voters set forth the socialistic liberal Democrats and their disgraceful major media allies, who seem intent on wrecking everything great this country once stood for.

I cannot conceive how 53 percent of our voters put the unqualified, irresponsible and arrogant Obama in the White House.

And just think of the individual baggage he brought with him that we were all aware of: Pelosi, Reid, Wright, Ayres, Biden, Dodd, Franks, Kennedy, Ginsberg, Leahy, CBS, NBC, ABC, CNN and now Sotomayor.

Right now, Obama and his minions are destroying our economy, indebting our children and grandchildren, and trying to sneak through their abominable Obama health care plan.

And if they are successful with these socialistic goals, next in line are pro-lifers, legal gun owners, military strength and Christianity. The only ones who can stop them are the great silent majority made of Democrat, Independent and Republican Christians, patriots and constitutionalists, who must speak up loud and clear.
