Edmond Police need the community’s help in finding the owner of money that was left at a restaurant.
This weekend a substantial amount of money was found at the China Express Restaurant, 351 W. 15th.
A white male, tall and of large build, described as being 45-50 years of age, came into the restaurant with a boy about 10 years of age, according to an Edmond Police report.
After eating a meal and ordering take out, the bill was paid with cash and the two left, leaving behind a money-filled envelope. After a few days, the owner didn’t return to claim the envelope, the report stated.
The owner needs to be able to describe the envelope and any markings on it and the amount of money left in the envelope.
The Edmond Police may be reached at 359-4420.
