Police make drug arrest

The Edmond Sun

EDMOND A pharmacist at Sherry’s Drug recently called police on a person passing a possible forged prescription.

A woman tried to get a prescription filled for Oxycontin at Sherry’s Drug, 220 S. Littler, but the pharmacist was unable to verify the information, so the pharmacist referred the woman to Walgreens at Second and Bryant, an Edmond Police report stated.

Police located the vehicle and stopped the male driver and female passenger for a loud improper muffler, the report stated. When asked about trying to fill the prescription at Sherry’s Drug, the woman told police she was trying to fill the prescription for a friend, according to the report.

In the woman’s purse, police officers noticed other prescription papers, which she gave the police to look at, the report stated. Also, in her possession, according to the police report, was a clear glass pipe, commonly used to smoke crack cocaine or methamphetamine, with some dried residue in it.

Inside the car, police found numerous pills and prescription bottles, the report stated. The pills, which were confirmed by poison control, were Oxycontin, Zarisoprodol, Alprazolam, Suboxone and Cialis, along with other pills that weren’t identified, according to the report.

Terra Sunday Kenworthy, 32, of Oklahoma City was arrested on complaints of possession of controlled dangerous substances and possession of drug paraphernalia. Robert Steven Hopper, 33, of Oklahoma City, was arrested on complaints of possession of controlled dangerous substances. They later were taken to the Oklahoma County Jail.
