Merkey promoted to system chief nursing officer at Integris

— Integris Health announces the appointment of Edmond resident Linda Merkey to system chief nursing officer. As vice president for Patient Care Services at Integris Baptist, Merkey brings a great deal of knowledge to this new position. During her 29 years of service to Integris Baptist, she has had responsibility for emergency services, surgical services, the outpatient department and Hospice of Oklahoma County. She has served as interim president of the Integris Heart Hospital, interim administrator of Integris Baptist, and administrator of Women’s and Children’s Services for the Integris metro facilities.
Merkey will identify opportunities to promote the vision and strategic direction of nursing.
