Golf tournament to benefit Children’s Miracle Network

— Golfers are needed for the 5th Annual Wal-Mart Charity Golf Tournament, which will be May 15 at the Jimmie Austin Golf Club in Norman. Proceeds from the golf tournament will benefit Children’s Miracle Network.
Breakfast and registration will begin at 8 a.m. followed by a 9 a.m. shotgun start. Winners will receive one of three prizes: a 42-inch LCD Television, a gas barbecue grill or a Nintendo Wii.
Heisman Trophy Winners Steve Owens, Billy Sims and Jason White will make an appearance during the event. Tournament fees range from $125 to $5,000. For more information, call Moore Wal-Mart assistant managers Corina or Rose at 790-0021.
