Police: Teen violates social host ordinance

EDMOND — Last weekend, a night of partying landed an Edmond man in jail.

Graham Ross Anderson, 19, of Edmond, was arrested on a complaint of violating the city’s social host ordinance.

Officers noticed a strong odor of marijuana coming from inside the apartment, the report stated. Police noticed several empty beer cans on the living room table, the police report stated, and that the apartment owner told police no one had any drugs.

According to police, there were about six other people inside the apartment who were between the ages of 18 and 19. The individuals admitted they were smoking a joint but flushed it down the toilet when they saw the officer at the door, the report stated. No drugs were found.
