Amputees receive support

— Amputees’ Next Step Support Group, hosted by OU Physicians Orthotics and Prosthetics, will meet from 1-3 p.m. Tuesday at the O’Donoghue Rehabilitation Institute, 1122 N.E. 13th St., Room 252 at OU Health Sciences Center.
The group offers a support system for patients and their families throughout the amputation surgery and rehabilitation process. The group provides educational information and resources. Amputees have the opportunity to visit with others who understand the same trials and triumphs and also discover helpful tips for daily activities.
