From its humble beginnings 29 years ago, Faith Bible Church, 600 N. Coltrane, has grown to a congregation of some 450 families.
On June 7, FBC formally celebrated its past but also took its first steps toward an exciting future by breaking ground on a new $7.3 million expansion project. The festivities included a church-wide potluck dinner and old-fashioned ice cream social. Following dinner and dessert the church conducted a formal groundbreaking ceremony.
The project will consist of 32,000 square feet of new ministry space plus an extensive remodeling of FBC’s existing facility. The new construction will include a Family Life Center (gymnasium) and Children’s Education Building.
Bockus-Payne and Associates are serving as the project architects. Smith and Pickle Construction has been chosen as the general contractor and BancFirst will provide the project financing.
Additional information including a video presentation of the project can be found on the church Web site: www.edmondfaithbible.com.
