Registration for the Cheer & Pom Camp for ages pre-kindergarten through sixth-grade is under way.
Sponsored by the Edmond Christian Sports Association, enrollment is under way for the third and fourth sessions of the camp, which will take place July 21-23 from 9 a.m. to noon or 1-4 p.m.
The camp performance, bake sale and silent auction for the sessions will be at 6 p.m. July 23 at Henderson Hills Baptist Church gym.
The camp includes three days of cheerleading instruction and devotionals, cheer camp T-shirt, poms, esteem-building activities, crafts, daily snack, camp award and a camp performance.
“It also includes a lot of fun,” said Mandy Mayberry, organizer of the camp.
Shelly Gray choreographs and helps teach cheers and pom techniques to the campers.
Cost of the camp is $65, but those who attend one of the first two sessions may attend additional sessions for only $15. Moms who volunteer one day of their time to cheer camp will receive a $15 discount off enrollment.
Call Mayberry at 519-5539 or 340-2551 for more information or e-mail UpwardCHEERokc@hotmail.com.
