Guthrie A 57-year-old Guthrie woman has died in a single-vehicle crash in Logan County.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says Geraldine Dee Smith was killed on Saturday when her car struck a concrete retaining wall.

Troopers say the crash occurred at 12:23 p.m. along Douglas Boulevard southeast of Guthrie. The victim's northbound vehicle came to a curve, exited the roadway and struck the retaining wall.

In its preliminary report, the patrol cites unsafe speed as the cause of the wreck.

Troopers say the victim was wearing a seat belt.
