Moms in Touch international groups meet in Edmond
Edmond Moms in Touch groups are meeting across the city this school year to pray for children, schools, teachers and staff.
“It’s an empowering time to gather with other moms and have them pray for any challenges your child may be facing,” said Peggy Grunow, area coordinator for Edmond Moms in Touch.
Moms in Touch began in 1984 by Fern Nichols, a mom who feared that influences outside of her control would steal the hearts of her sons who were entering junior high school. She knew that if moms gathered together to cry out to God for the needs and concerns of her children, that He would not only hear those prayers but answer them.
Groups currently meet at these schools: Angie Debo, Centennial, Charles Haskell, Chisholm, Northern Hills, Cross Timbers, Orvis Risner and Will Rogers Elementary Schools, Cheyenne and Sequoyah Middle Schools and Memorial and North High Schools.
For more information, visit www.MomsInTouch.org or call (800) 949-MOMS.
