An Edmond man was recently accused of exposing himself and was arrested on a complaint of indecent exposure, Edmond Police said.
George Stewart Watson, 27, has been booked into the Edmond Jail and awaited being transported to Oklahoma County Jail. Edmond Police Department spokeswoman Glynda Chu said he faces one complaint of indecent exposure.
On Wednesday, police responded to a call about an indecent exposure in progress in the 1000 block of North Kennedy.
Police were informed that Watson was sitting in a 1990s model green Honda Accord in the parking lot “playing with himself,” according to a police report. While police interviewed the victim, officers tracked down Watson, stopping his vehicle at Ayers and Chowning.
The victim told police that she had just driven home and had noticed Watson in his car as she passed his vehicle, police said. She continued home, got out of her car and went upstairs to her apartment.
After she went upstairs, she saw that Watson had pulled into the parking lot in front of her apartment. She went inside and locked the door. After she let her dog outside, she saw Watson “clearly” looking up at her. Moments later, Watson pulled his pants down, exposed himself and began masturbating, police said.
Once the traffic stop had been made, police drove the victim by the scene and she positively identified Watson as the man who exposed himself, police said.
