The Fine Arts and Literature Statewide Academic Meet will be from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Education Building of the University of Central Oklahoma. The meet is hosted by the Fine Arts Institute of Edmond partnering with the UCO College of Education. Eighteen Oklahoma high schools have registered to compete. The National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum welcomes Bank of America customers taking advantage of Museums on Us the first full weekend of every month. “She Loves Me” will be performed at 8 p.m. today and tomorrow at the Hardeman Auditorium of the Oklahoma Christian University campus. In this romance set in the 1930s, two feuding clerks in a European parfumerie secretly find solace in their anonymous romantic pan pals, little knowing their respective correspondents are none other than each other. The same story was made into the popular movie, “You've Got Mail.” The play is suitable for all ages. Tickets cost $10, or $9 for seniors. Kaleidoscope Dance Company, of the University of Central Oklahoma, will debut an array of dances, including ballet, tap, hip-hop and African pieces, during their fall dance concert at 7:30 p.m. Saturday in the Mitchell Hall Theater on the UCO campus. Guests artists r.a.c.e. (radical application of creative energy), the first professional jazz dance company in Oklahoma, and local professional ballroom dancers Shelby and Dadbeh Jarafi also will perform. Tickets to the concert are $14 for adults, $10 for seniors and non-UCO students, and $4 for UCO students. To reserve tickets, call the box office at 974-3375.

Veterans receive free admission to the National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum during regular hours, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Veterans will receive free admission for up to six people. All active duty, active reserve, Ready Reserve Service members, National Guardsmen, Coalition Forces members and retirees, American Legion members and VFW members are eligible for free admission. Wine Thru Time, an elegant fundraising event, will feature wines by Premium Brands Wine & Spirits and food from participating area restaurants. Stephanie Jackson, classical guitarist, will provide live entertainment. Live and silent auctions items will be available for bidding. The event will be from 6-8:30 p.m. at the Edmond Historical Society & Museum. The cost is $50 per person. Corporate tables are available. Fall Craft Show, a fundraising event sponsored by the Edmond North High School Band Boosters, will be from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the school’s Freshman Academy on the north side of the main building at 215 W. Danforth Rd. Get an early start on holiday gift shopping with a large selection of homemade craft items, jewelry, candles, holiday decor, home-based business items and much more. Lunch and refreshments will be available for purchase at the band's “Husky Cafe.” Admission is free.
