EDMOND — Members of the Oklahoma Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force arrested Terry Lee McDonald, 50, at his Dibble home on Monday, the OSBI announced.

The case was initiated by a task force officer from the Guthrie Police Department working in an undercover capacity investigating the distribution of child pornography over the Internet. McDonald distributed child pornography to the undercover officer, according to information released by the OSBI.

Task Force members from the Guthrie Police Department, Edmond Police Department, the McClain County Sheriff’s Office and the OSBI assisted by Dibble Police served a search warrant at McDonald’s home, the OSBI stated.

Investigators found several digital storage devices. Investigators previewed the computer used by McDonald and found child pornography, the OSBI stated. All other computer-related items along with McDonald’s computer will be sent to the OSBI Computer Crimes Unit for further examination.

The investigation continues to determine if any local children are in the images, the OSBI stated.

McDonald was booked into the McClain County jail on one count of distribution of child pornography, one count of possession of child pornography and violation of the Oklahoma Computer Crimes Act.

McDonald is a registered sex offender based off a 1991 conviction of lewd acts with a child in Grady County, according to the OSBI.
