6-29 Rescued animals

EDMOND — This is a list of animals that have been found and are at the Edmond Animal Shelter, at Interstate 35 and Covell in the Cross Timbers Municipal Complex. Call the shelter at 216-7615 for more information.



Two domestic short hair kittens, gray and white, were found at Bryant Grove.

A female Maine coon, brown was found in a trap on Oak Tree Drive.

A domestic short hair kitten, brown tabby, was found.

A neutered male beagle, tri color was found on 15th Street and Fretz.

A domestic short hair kitten, black and white, was found in the University of Central Oklahoma parking lot.

A male Labrador retriever puppy, black, was found on I-35 and 15th Street.

A male dachshund, tan, was found on Pine Oak Drive.

A domestic short hair kitten, gray tiger, was found on Fretz and Edmond Road.

A male Great Pyrenees/German shepherd mix, white, was found on 15th Street and Kelly.

A female domestic short hair kitten, black, was found on Enz Drive.

A domestic short hair kitten, cream, was found on 13th Street and Broadway.

A neutered male boxer, white, was found on 33rd Street and Boulevard, behind the Dog Park.

A female American pit bull terrier, white and tan, was found on Sooner and Danforth in a dumpster.

A domestic short hair kitten, gray and white, was found on 33rd Street and Santa Fe.

A male Papillon mix, black, was found on Covell and Midwest Boulevard.

A female boxer, brown, was found on 33rd Street and Boulevard behind the Dog Park.

A domestic short hair kitten, orange, was found on 33rd Street and Santa Fe.

A domestic short hair kitten, calico, was found on 33rd Street and Santa Fe.

A domestic short hair kitten, gray and white, was found on 33rd Street and Santa Fe.

A female rottweiler, black and tan, was found on 15th Street and Bryant.

A male domestic short hair kitten, orange, was found on 33rd Street and Coltrane.

A male Labrador retriever mix, black, was found on Sorghum Mill Road and Coltrane.

A neutered male pit bull, black and white, was found.

A domestic short hair cat, gray tiger, was found.

A male Parson Russell terrier mix, gray and black, was found on Midwest Boulevard and Danforth.

A female Parson Russell terrier mix, red and white, was found on Midwest Boulevard and Danforth.

A domestic short hair cat, gray tiger and black tiger, was found on East Second.

A female short hair Chihuahua, brown brindle and white, was found on West Hurd.

A female Labrador retriever, black, was found on 33rd Street and Bryant.

A female American Staffordshire, fawn and white, was found on East Second.

A male pointer and Labrador retriever mix, black and white, was found on Danforth and Bryant.

A male Labrador retriever mix, black, was found on Danforth and Bryant.

A male short hair Chihuahua, buff, was found on 15th Street and Post.

A domestic short hair cat, calico, was found.

A male domestic medium hair kitten, orange tabby was found at Spring Creek Apartments.

A domestic short hair cat, chocolate was found on 28th Street and Rankin.

A female American pit bull terrier puppy, white and tan, was found on Steeple Chase.

A female short hair Chihuahua, tan, was found at Oxford Oaks Apartment.

A neutered male Labrador retriever mic, black, was found on 33rd Street and Boulevard.

    The Central Edmond Urban Development Board has revisited plans made in a 1998 Downtown Master Plan through public meetings and presentations to protect the future development of Broadway. Recommendations by the group will be taken into account by future city councils.

  • Broadway Paving Underway.jpg 3 miles of Broadway restoration nears completion

    Work to restore 3 miles of Broadway from Waterloo to Simpson was near completion Friday, said Mark Sharpton, District 1 county commissioner. Atlas Paving Company began the process of resurfacing the road this week.
    “Another improvement on the roadway will be the application of new safety striping,” Sharpton said.
    A recent bid letting by the Oklahoma Department of Transportation resulted in Action Supply being the lowest bidder at $27,752.30. The bid will be awarded June 3, Sharpton said.
