EDMOND — UPDATE: Police spokeswoman Jenny Monroe said the missing woman has been found and is being evaluated. Monroe said she was found in parking lot at Santa Fe and Danforth by a citizen who had seen media reports.

The Edmond Police Department is searching for a missing woman who may be in distress, a spokeswoman said.

Police spokeswoman Jenny Monroe said Dallas Richardson, 34, left a box of personal belongs on the front porch of a house she was renting at 1015 Pruett Drive in Edmond.

“The landlord found it Monday morning,” Monroe said. “Inside the box were envelopes addressed to family members and friends, her phone, family photos, birth certificate, social security card and a last will and testament.”

Monroe said there were also instructions on how to handle property and finances. Richardson left behind her cat who is now under the care of Edmond Animal Welfare staff members, Monroe said.

Monroe said the woman may be driving her vehicle which is a maroon 2003 Honda CRV with Oklahoma tag 089GBH. The tag expired in September 2012.

If you see Dallas Richardson or her vehicle call 911.
