The Edmond Sun

EDMOND — Anyone ages 16 years and up who is interested in taking a “GED Preparation for the Test” class should attend an orientation at the Edmond Library on Feb. 11 prior to attending either of the Edmond GED class sites. Those who wish to attend this class to prepare for the GED test either at the Edmond Library or at Edmond Central Middle School should be in attendance from 6-8:30 p.m. on Feb. 11, in Room B at the library, 10 S. Boulevard.

Interested students should not call the Edmond Library. To attend either of the Edmond GED classes, students must attend this GED orientation. Call the OCCC Adult Learning Center at 682-7873 and with your name and phone number to attend this February orientation at the Edmond Library.

There will be 60 spots in this orientation. Students will be assigned to either the Edmond Library GED class or the Edmond Central Middle School class according to their test results and their subject area needs.

Edmond GED students will be given instructions for both class sites in Edmond at the orientation on Feb. 11. Call to sign up for this orientation in order to get free GED Test instruction from certified teachers. Curriculum is provided.

Call 682-7873 for more information or to sign up. Orientations will be at the library one time each month.

OCCC has information about the 16-17 year old age waiver form, which is a GED class requirement for 16- and 17-year-old students.
