Edmond Police announces May enforcement areas

EDMOND — The Edmond Police Department has released its primary and secondary traffic enforcement areas for the remainder of the month of May.

Police Sgt. Acey Hopper releases the information so motorists will take note and drive responsibly. The primary enforcement areas are: Edmond Road/Second Street from Kelly to Jackson and 33rd Street from Kelly to Meadow Lane.

Secondary areas are: Second Street and Bradbury Drive, where officers will be monitoring signal light violations and speed during the morning and afternoon rush, Thornbrooke Boulevard, where officers will be monitoring speed, Smiling Hills Drive and Lytal Lane, where officers will be monitoring speed during elementary school pick-up time, Rankin Street between 29th and 33rd as well as Bristol Park Boulevard, where officers will be monitoring speed during rush times.
