3-10 Pets: rescued animals

EDMOND — This is a list of animals that have been impounded by Edmond Animal Welfare at the Edmond Animal Shelter, Interstate 35 and Covell in the Cross Timbers Municipal complex. Call the shelter at 216-7615.



The following animals will be available for adoption after March 11:

A Cocker Spaniel, black and tan, was found at Danforth and Boulevard.

A domestic short-haired cat, gray tabby, was found at Jackson.

A domestic long-haired cat, seal point, was found at Jackson.

A female Australian Kelpie mix, black, was found at Pennington Avenue.

A domestic short-haired cat, black and white, was found at Morningstar.

A domestic medium-haired cat, black and white, was found at Dennis.

A domestic short-haired cat, black and white, was found at Jackson.

A female Dachshund, black and brown, was found at Fretz.

The following pets are available for adoption:

A domestic short-haired cat, gray tabby, was found on Rankin.

A domestic short-haired cat, black, was found on Fretz.

A domestic short-haired cat, gray tiger, was found on Jackson.

A domestic short-haired cat, gray tiger and white, was found on Jackson.

A female Lhasa Alpso, tan and black, was found near Danforth and Kelly.

A female Schnauzer mix, brown and gray, was found on Viewmont Drive.

    My Birth Center at OU Medical Center Edmond delivered its 100th baby at 7:42 a.m. Friday, 44 years after the hospital’s first 100th baby was born in 1968. My Birth Center opened in September, becoming the first birth place available in Edmond since 2005.

    The Logan County Democratic Committee will have its monthly meeting on Monday.
    The main order of business will be Get Out the Vote for the April 3 state Senate race. Precinct officers are encouraged to attend. In addition to business and planning items, the group will celebrate Logan County Democrats with birthdays in February.
