Edmond Brownie Troop 3230 prepared a gingerbread house named "Camp Gingerland" for entry into the Edmond Historical Society's Gingerbread House Contest. The Girl Scouts included Avery Baskin, Claire Savage, Emma Stogner, Kristen Brandon, Reagan Baskin and Rachel Vanderkooi.
The event will be from 2-3 p.m. Saturday at the historical society, 431 S. Boulevard. While the event is free, pre-registration is required. Gingerbread houses will be accepted for entry through Friday afternoon. For more information, call Christine Gibson at the historical society at 340-0078, ext. 104.
