A new phase of rezoning for Centennial at Iron Horse Ranch Estates was approved 5-0 for single family this week by the city council. The Planning Commission approved this item in December by a vote of 4-0.
Two phases of the single family addition has already started east of Coltrane, north of Coffee Creek, said Bob Schiermeyer, city planner. The plat contains 53 acres, however, 23 acres is still zoned agricultural.
“The Walnut Hill Addition is located to the west and contains 2-acre lots,” Schiermeyer noted.
Utilities are available and will be extended as far as the property line, Schiermeyer said. A church will be constructed at the southeast corner of Sorghum Mill and Coltrane. So water for the project will be extended by developers Bryan Coon and Huitt Zollers.
“This application is consistent with the Edmond Plan,” Schiermeyer said.
