EDMOND — Family members, colleagues and friends honored and celebrated the life of Oklahoma County Sheriff’s Office Deputy Terry Fisher Thursday.

Fisher, 43, suffered a heart attack Friday afternoon while on duty and died Sunday, family members stated in his obituary. The service was at LifeChurch, 2001 NW 178th. Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Baggerley Funeral Home, 930 South Broadway.

Pastor Don Brewer spoke about Fisher as a man who was secure in his faith and the related hope. Colleague Matt Jackson recalled their parting words and the difficult days since hearing about Fisher’s death on Sunday. Oklahoma County Sheriff John Whetsel spoke about Fisher’s service to the community, his excellence as a public servant, as a family man and the many lives he touched. Scripture included the 23rd Psalm. Letters from his daughters were read. His last call was played.
