Authorities seek missing man, 26

EDMOND — UPDATE on Nov. 30, 2012: Dustin Frank Higgins has been safely located. The Oklahoma County Sheriff's Office received information from the public regarding Higgins’ whereabouts after news reports on Nov. 29. The agency has confirmed that Higgins is safe, and unharmed. No other details were released.

Authorities are seeking the public’s help in finding a 26-year-old man who was last seen at a Deer Creek area home on Nov. 22.

Oklahoma County Sheriff’s Office spokesman Mark Myers said the agency is seeking information regarding the disappearance and whereabouts of Dustin Frank Higgins, 26.

Higgins was last seen on Nov. 22 at a friend’s house in the Deer Creek area. Higgins was scheduled to pick up his daughter on Nov. 23, but he never did, Myers said.

Myers said Higgins is described as a white male standing 5-feet 9-inches tall, 190 pounds with brown hair and hazel eyes. He had been driving a company vehicle, a white 1994 Suzuki Sidekick, which was recovered Nov. 29 at the Halliburton Field Airport in Duncan, Myers said.
