Edmond Rotary takes a look at women’s issues

EDMOND — Edmond Rotary Club will feature Kristin Davis, executive director of Oklahoma Women’s Coalition, Feb. 20 as speaker during its weekly meeting. Davis, of Edmond, is the first executive director of the Oklahoma Women’s Coalition tackling the status of women in Oklahoma, as the state ranks in the bottom 10 states for many key areas pertaining to women, such as 42nd for women’s health and well-being, and 44th for women’s median annual earnings and 45th for women’s social and economic autonomy.

The organization meets at noon Wednesdays at Henderson Hills Baptist Church, at 15th and the east I-35 Service Road. The Edmond Rotary Club welcomes any interested party to attend its weekly meetings. Lunch is available for $12.50.
