The Teen Board at the Fine Arts Institute of Edmond is presenting its 2013 version of America’s Got Talent complete with three celebrity judges, 16 acts and local teen emcees. The show will be at 7 p.m. Nov. 9 at UCO’s Mitchell Hall. After auditioning more than 45 talented acts, 16 were selected by teen board members to be in Edmond’s Got Talent. Tickets are on sale at the Fine Arts Institute, 27 E. Edwards (across the street north from the downtown post office). Tickets are $7 pre-sold and $10 at the door.
Summer Stolz and Alana Hughes, both Teen Board members, will emcee the show. The three 2013 celebrity judges are Lance McDaniel, executive director of deadCenter Film Festival; Emily Sutton, KFOR meteorologist; and state Sen. Clark Jolley, R-Edmond. The judges sit on the stage and interact with the performers in a fun, informal style. Winning performers at Edmond’s Got Talent will receive cash prize of $300, $200 and $100 in prizes.
