GUTHRIE — The Oklahoma Department of Transportation, in cooperation with the Federal Highway Administration, will present a public meeting regarding plans for proposed improvements to the S.H. 33 bridge over Cottonwood Creek and the BNSF Railroad in Guthrie. The proposed project consists of replacing the existing S.H. 33 bridge and approaches in order to improve sight distance, reduce road closures on S.H. 33 due to flooding as well as widening S.H. 33 to four lanes.
The public meeting will be at 5:30 p.m. May 8 at the Oklahoma Sports Museum, 315 W. Oklahoma Ave., in Guthrie.
The meeting will include a brief presentation on the proposed plans for the project and a discussion of the results of the project’s environmental study and potential impacts to the area.
