EDMOND — Thousands of spectators lined Ayers, Broadway, Second and University streets in dowtnown Edmond Thursday morning to view the annual LibertyFest Parade. Entries included many representatives of the military, Congresman James Lankford, R-Edmond, several beauty queens, Shriners, Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts, bicycle riders representing the YMCA, Oklahoma County Sheriff's Office motorcycle unit, a band of students from ACM@UCO playing live on a float, clowns and various other entertainers. The two-hour parade is one of the largest Fourth of July parades in the state.

LibertyFest Fireworks are scheduled to begin at 10 p.m. tonight at the University of Central Oklahoma campus.
