EDMOND — An Edmond man has been arrested on a complaint related to alleged solicitation of a minor via Craigslist, police said.

Friday afternoon, Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation spokeswoman Jessica Brown said member of the OSBI Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force arrested the man that morning after a two-month-long investigation into solicitation for sex with minors on Craigslist.

The task force member arrested Michael Dean Osburn, 42, when he traveled to Guthrie believing he was meeting a 15-year-old boy for sex, Brown said.

Osburn was arrested in the 200 block of Woodlawn Drive in Guthrie and booked into the Logan County jail on a complaint of violating the Oklahoma Computer Crimes Act and solicitation of sexual conduct of a minor with the use of technology, Brown said.

No further details were immediately available.
