OKLA. CITY —
Gov. Mary Fallin this week announced several appointments to various boards, councils and commissions.
The governor named Mark Helm of Edmond to the Water Policy for 2060 Advisory Council.
Helm is president and chief executive officer of Dolese Bros., a construction materials company. He is currently a board member and past chairman of the Oklahoma Agregates Association, on the board of and executive committee member for the National Stone, Sand and Gravel Association and a trustee on the Rocks Build America Foundation.
Helm earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Minnesota and a master’s degree from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minn. He is filling a new position and serves as a member well versed in water efficiency.
The governor also named Danny Galloway of Stillwater, Tom Buchanan of Altus and Bob Drake of Davis to the council.
