Work is progressing for the Bryant Bridge replacement north of 15th Street. Contractors are working on preparing the sub-grade layer for paving on the east side of the Bryant Bridge, said Larry Stevens, city manager.
“When that is accomplished the traffic will be switched over to that side and they’ll start to work on the west side,” he said Monday night.
The $1.6 million cost of the project is funded by 1996 capital sales tax improvement fund.
“They have 180 working days to get that done which indicates they will get that done by the end of April,” Stevens said.
