2 parties, 8 arrests

EDMOND — Some Christmas celebrations turned joyless for some Edmond residents after they were arrested on complaints of violating the city’s social host ordinance.

Officers were first called to a home in the 900 block of Castle about 2 a.m. Saturday in reference to a loud party.

Officers found one of the residents, 21-year-old Alexander Quentin File, and 22-year-old Charles Lee Christmas standing outside on the lawn.

According to a police report, File said he was not sure if his guests were older than 21. Officer Aaron London said File’s roommates slammed and locked the door.

With File’s help the officer was able to enter the home and tell three alleged underage drinkers to find sober drivers.

File and another roommate, 22-year-old Joab Rios-Fuentes, were placed under arrest on a complaint of violating the social host ordinance. Another roommate, 21-year-old Andrew Patrick Hutchens, was found hiding under a bed and arrested.

Police also arrested 20-year-old Kyle Lance Cavitt on complaints of public intoxication and false representation to an officer. Cavitt was arrested on a complaint of public intoxication.

Just before 11 p.m. Sunday officers again were dispatched on a report of a loud party in the 200 block of East 30th Street. They found three subjects standing on the lawn.

After that, the garage door to the residence opened and officers discovered about 20 people who were getting in cars. One of them, 18-year-old Christopher Wayne Stolfa, allegedly tried to leave in an SUV. Officer Timothy Ivy said Stolfa appeared to be intoxicated.

Officers found 21-year-old Jason Drue McCullough in the back yard along with what appeared to be several underage drinkers. Bryan Stolfa allegedly rushed toward officers while they tried to arrest McCullough.

The juvenile was arrested on a complaint of possession of marijuana. Christopher Stolfa was arrested on a complaint of violating the social host ordinance and actual physical control of a vehicle. McCullough was arrested on a complaint of social host violation and Bryan Stolfa was arrested on a complaint of resisting an officer.
