The Oklahoma City Zoo will host the Hippity Hoppers Zoo Adventure Program to celebrate the Year of the Frog from 2-3 p.m. Learn about amazing creatures through crafts, games and a special visit from one of our little green friends. Oklahoma City Writers Inc. meets at 10 a.m. the third Saturday of each month September through May at the Meinders School of Business, 26th Street and N. McKinley in Oklahoma City. Guests are welcome and there is no fee.

The Oklahoma Railway Museum offers 35-minute excursion trains on the first and third Saturdays of each month for the general public from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. Train rides are free for children under the age of 3, $5 for children 4 years to 15 years, and $8 for those 15 years and older. In addition to the train ride, various railroad equipment, including motor cars, locomotives and passenger cars, are on display. A display car contains permanent exhibits of railroad memorabilia. The museum itself is open on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and there is no admission charge to tour the grounds. ORM is located at 3400 N.E. Sunday Twilight Concert Series will be from 7-8:30 p.m. at Myriad Botanical Gardens, on the southwest corner on the plaza above the Water Stage. The concert features Chris Hicks Band — Variety. Wild Tuesdays Story Time Safaris are every Tuesday in June and July at the Oklahoma City Zoo. Children ages 11 and younger will enjoy stories, a meet-and-greet with a zoo keeper or naturalist and a free juice drink. Story time sessions take place at 9:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. at the Judy Memorial Garden. For more details, call the zoo at 425-0262.

The Deaconess Grief Support group will meet every Tuesday through Aug. 26 from 6:30-8 p.m. in 1 North Conference Room at Deaconess Hospital.     My Birth Center at OU Medical Center Edmond delivered its 100th baby at 7:42 a.m. Friday, 44 years after the hospital’s first 100th baby was born in 1968. My Birth Center opened in September, becoming the first birth place available in Edmond since 2005.
