Bon voyage, Carrie!

EDMOND — Friends and co-workers attended a going away party for the City of Edmond’s Urban Forester Carrie Tomlinson Friday afternoon at the Cross Timbers Municipal Complex. Above, Rush Clinkscales, a civil engineer, views a special display honoring Tomlinson. Right, Geoffry Braga, a consulting forester with Edmond Electric, chats with Tomlinson. Friday was Tomlinson’s final day. She was hired six years ago. Friends and colleagues said she has been a great co-worker who will be missed.

    The main order of business will be Get Out the Vote for the April 3 state Senate race. Precinct officers are encouraged to attend. In addition to business and planning items, the group will celebrate Logan County Democrats with birthdays in February.
