  • Cooksey calls for funding ME’s move, cultural center

    Maintenance for the state Capitol has been deferred so long that the time is critical to make repairs, state Rep. Marian Cooksey said at a recent legislative breakfast sponsored by the Edmond Area Chamber of Commerce. It’s also time to fund a new Edmond facility for the Office of Chief Medical Examiner, as well as funding the completion of the American Indian Cultural Center and Museum in Oklahoma City, she said.
