ESL/Citizenship will be from 5:30-8:30 p.m. at the Edmond Library. Adults can learn English as a Second Language by practicing their writing, speaking, listening skills and prepare for the citizenship test. Classes are provided free by Oklahoma City Community College.

The Oklahoma City Museum of Art Museum School will offer “Impressionistic Me!” from children three to five years old from 10-11 a.m. Children must be accompanied by adult. Read a book, tour the museum and draw a life-size outline of yourself. Cost is $7.50 for museum members and $10 for non-members. For more information, call 236-3100.

Oklahoma City Writers Inc. meets at 10 a.m. the third Saturday of each month September through May at the Meinders School of Business, 26th Street and N. McKinley in Oklahoma City. Guests are welcome and there is no fee.

The Oklahoma Railway Museum, Ltd. offers 35-minute excursion trains on the first and third Saturdays of each month for the general public from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. Train rides are free for children under the age of 3, $5 for children 4 years to 15 years, and $8 for those 15 years and older. In addition to the train ride, various railroad equipment, including motor cars, locomotives and passenger cars, are on display. A display car contains permanent exhibits of railroad memorabilia. The museum itself is open on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and there is no admission charge to tour the grounds. ORM is located at 3400 N.E.     My Birth Center at OU Medical Center Edmond delivered its 100th baby at 7:42 a.m. Friday, 44 years after the hospital’s first 100th baby was born in 1968. My Birth Center opened in September, becoming the first birth place available in Edmond since 2005.
