EDMOND — 4 WEDNESDAY
Held on the Homefront exhibit comes to the Edmond Library on the Traces traveling museum in a bus. The exhibit, for teens and adults, will be open from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Through artifacts, text and interaction with the museum docent, those who visit the bus will learn about the 380,000 German prisoners of war who were held in America’s heartland, and the impact they had on the communities that surrounded them. The bus will be parked in the library parking lot. Visits are first come, first served.
7 SATURDAY
Heather Harkness Memorial Volleyball Tournament, sponsored by the Edmond Santa Fe High School DECA Chapter and Girls’ Volleygall Teams, begins at 9 a.m. and concludes when play is complete. Co-ed teams of six (at least two of opposite sex) compete for first through third places. The cost is $60 per team, $10 for each additional player or alternate over six. Kaleidoscope Dance Company, of the University of Central Oklahoma, will debut an array of dances, including ballet, tap, hip-hop and African pieces, during their fall dance concert at 7:30 p.m. through Saturday in the Mitchell Hall Theater on the UCO campus. Guests artists r.a.c.e. (radical application of creative energy), the first professional jazz dance company in Oklahoma, and local professional ballroom dancers Shelby and Dadbeh Jarafi also will perform. Tickets to the concert are $14 for adults, $10 for seniors and non-UCO students and $4 for UCO students. To reserve tickets, call the box office at 974-3375.
Small Works, an exhibit of art by Cynthia Wolf, Jan Hutchiinson, Thomas Stotts and Clive R. Tyler, opens today and continues through Nov. 21 at the Adelante Gallery, 3003 Paseo, Oklahoma City. The gallery is open 12-5 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday and by appointment. Also, Cynthia Wolf will be showing her Cattle Drive Series and Western Landscapes from 6-8 p.m. at the National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum Store’s holiday open house

OU Medical Edmond greets 100th baby
Sometimes it seems as if history repeats itself.

Logan Co. Democrats to meet Monday
The Logan County Democratic Committee will have its monthly meeting on Monday.
