Power was restored quickly Tuesday morning after a brief power outage at about 10 a.m. resulted in some Edmond Electric customers being without electricity from a second to about 20 minutes, said Michelle Trimberger, program coordinator.
“It literally was like somebody pulled a plug and plugged it right back in,” said Ashleigh Clark, city public information officer.
The area affected was in the area of Kelly and Santa Fe off 33rd Street. Edmond Electric was doing routine maintenance between substations when a switch malfunctioned.
“It was a matter of replacing it real quick and getting it back on,” Trimberger said.
