Six alcohol-related arrests were made during a joint weekend metro DUI enforcement effort.
The Oklahoma County Sheriff’s Office and the Midwest City Police Department conducted a joint DUI enforcement with saturation patrols and a checkpoint. The checkpoint was during the weekend in the 7200 block of S.E. 15th Street in Midwest City.
According to information relased by the OCSO deputies logged eight arrests: 4 for DUI or actual physical control; one for possession of marijuana, one for a suspended/revoked driver’s license; one for a warrant; and one “other.”
Deputies wrote 113 citations: 55 seat belt; 16 suspended/revoked driver’s license violations; 14 failure to carry insurance violations; six child restraint violations; three disobeying traffic signal violations; two Improper lane usage citations; two expired tag violations; one speeding and 14 “other” complaints.
Deputies issued 51 warnings.
Midwest City officers made four arrests: two on DUI complaints and two driving under suspension complaints and issued 26 citations.
