OKLA. CITY —
Francis Tuttle Technology Center, at 12777 N. Rockwell Ave., was evacuated this morning due to a bomb threat.
Oklahoma County Sheriff’s deputies responded, said Oklahoma City Police Master Sgt. Gary Knight.
“When we received a call with a bomb threat we immediately started evacuating the buildings,” said Jeff Knapp, spokesperson for Francis Tuttle.
“We have two SROs on campus and they immediately called the bomb squad, who brought their dogs. Before the buildings were completely cleared, the police had a suspect in custody.”
No bomb was found.
Knapp said he did not know if the suspect had been previously enrolled, but he is not a student at this time.
