Call for nominations for the Oklahoma Aviation and Space Hall of Fame

EDMOND — Nominations for inductees are being accepted at Science Museum Oklahoma through Nov. 1. Honorees will be announced Dec. 6 during a luncheon recognizing Oklahoma’s aviation and space leaders. Past recipients include such notables as Wiley Post, Will Rogers, Tom Stafford, plus more in the state’s aviation-related industries.

Established more than 25 years ago, Oklahoma Aviation and Space Hall of Fame honors Oklahomans who have made significant contributions to the advancement of aviation, the exploration of space, the development of aviation and aerospace industries or the development and use of aviation in the U.S. military.

Nominations must also include a cover letter describing why the nominated individual is deserving of consideration. Submission of additional materials such as a resume, biographical sketch, newspaper clippings or other supporting materials should accompany the nomination form. Please send copies of original documents only, as these documents will not be returned to the sender. Nominations received after Nov. 1 will not be considered.
