Special to The Sun
Edmond Boulevard Rotarians are offering a piece of an Oklahoma City basketball legend as their first fundraiser.
A 24” x 38” signed, framed photo of Kevin Durant, OKC Thunder superstar, NBA All Star MVP and Olympic gold medalist, will be given away to the winner of a raffle.
The proceeds will be used to purchase dictionaries for third-graders at Will Rogers Elementary School, as well as other local and international projects the club has planned.
Tickets prices are one chance for $10, three chances for $20 and 10 chances for $50. The winner will be drawn at a special meeting on Nov. 12, which will be held in a member’s home while watching the Thunder play at Detroit. Those purchasing tickets are welcome to attend, but need not be present to win.
