This is a list of animals that have been found and are at the Edmond Animal Shelter, at Interstate 35 and Covell in the Cross Timbers Municipal Complex. Call the shelter at 216-7615 for more information.
A neutered male beagle mix, tan and white, was found at Hawks Landing.
A female Labrador retriever, chocolate, was found on Edmond Road and Santa Fe.
A male Labrador retriever, black, was found at Fretz and 15th Street.
A neutered male Siamese cat, flame point, was found at Second Street and Broadway.
A female Labrador retriever, yellow, was found on Ninth Street and Broadway.
A neutered male Australian shepherd/Alaskan husky mix, tricolor, was found on Trails South.
A neutered male, white, was found on Trails South.
A female Welsh terrier, white and tan, was found.
A male domestic short-hair, orange tabby, was found on 15th Street and Kelly.
A male Labrador retriever, black, was found on Coffee Creek and Midwest Boulevard.
A male Rat terrier/Australian shepherd mix, white, was found on Douglas and Sorghum Mill Road.
A domestic long-hair cat, black, was found on 15th Street and Rankin.
A domestic short-hair cat, brown tiger, was found on East Sixth Street.
A female American bulldog, black and white, was found on Covell and Coltrane.
A spayed female dachshund/Labrador retriever mix, brown, was found in the Dog Park on 33rd Street.
A male Chihuahua short-hair, black, was found on Second Street and Kelly.

City plans to hire downtown consultant
Conceptual ideas about how the City of Edmond may plan for downtown development were shared this week by David Forrest with members of the business community.
The Central Edmond Urban Development Board has revisited plans made in a 1998 Downtown Master Plan through public meetings and presentations to protect the future development of Broadway. Recommendations by the group will be taken into account by future city councils. -
Feds recommend changing legal alcohol content levels
During the past 15 years alcohol contributed to a third of highway deaths prompting the government this week to recommend reducing state Blood Alcohol Content limits from .08 to .05 or lower.

3 miles of Broadway restoration nears completion
Work to restore 3 miles of Broadway from Waterloo to Simpson was near completion Friday, said Mark Sharpton, District 1 county commissioner. Atlas Paving Company began the process of resurfacing the road this week.
“Another improvement on the roadway will be the application of new safety striping,” Sharpton said.
A recent bid letting by the Oklahoma Department of Transportation resulted in Action Supply being the lowest bidder at $27,752.30. The bid will be awarded June 3, Sharpton said. - More Local News Headlines
