EDMOND — Rolling paper, a cigar blunt wrap, digital scales and hydrocodone led to the seizure of 110 grams of marijuana from an Edmond home, police said.

An anonymous tip about illegal drug usage led police on Aug. 28 to an apartment at 1300 E. Ayers, according to a report filed by Edmond Police Officer Joshua Pratt.

When police knocked on the front door, they could hear someone moving around inside, but no one came to the door, police said. About three minutes after arriving, a male later identified as Brock Boston Radford, 24, of Edmond, opened the door.

Police asked the suspect why it took so long to open the door, but received no explanation. Police asked if he had any marijuana in the apartment and the suspect said “no.” He agreed to let police come in and  look around.

In the apartment, police noticed a “Job” brand rolling paper container, an unopened cigar blunt wrap and a digital scale, which had marijuana residue on it, police said.

Police said when they asked the suspect where he got his marijuana, he told them “Wherever I can get it,” and that he doesn’t buy from just one person. When asked how he knows where to get marijuana, he said “I just know.”

The suspect became increasingly nervous while the police were there. Police found caplets of hydrocodone (aka Vicodin), a commonly abused prescription drug.  In a closet they found a suitcase, which contained a gallon-sized baggy with a large amount of marijuana, which weighed about 110 grams, police said.

Radford was arrested on complaints of possession of CDS (Schedule II), possession of CDS with intent to distribute and possession of drug paraphernalia-state. Radford is in the county jail. His bond was set at $8,500.

Not every incident leads to a charge under the law. If charges are filed, innocence or guilt is determined by a court of law.
