    The Oklahoma Christian women’s basketball team used a second half rally to pull within two against Southern Nazarene University, but couldn’t close the gap. The Crimson Storm used a 14-3 run in the final 13 minutes of the game for a  70-53 win Saturday night at the Sawyer Center.

  • Upset bid falls short for OC men

    The Oklahoma Christian University men delivered a few scares Saturday night, but didn’t have enough to upset No. 6-ranked Southern Nazarene. The Crimson Storm’s tough play upfront proved to be too much for No. 16 Eagles as they held on for a 64-54 win at the Sawyer Center.

    Shooting was an issue for the Oklahoma Christian University men on again on Thursday night, but it wasn’t enough to keep them down against University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma. Andre Vaughn came through with a couple of big layups late in the game as the No. 16-ranked Eagles snapped a three-game skid with a 68-65 win at the Eagles’ Nest.

    The Oklahoma Christian women made a late push but it wasn’t enough to top No. 4-ranked Oklahoma Baptist on Monday night. The Lady Eagles pulled within five late in the game but OBU was able but to hold on for a 67-57 win in Shawnee.

    The Oklahoma Christian men’s basketball team endured their third loss in a row after falling 89-71 to Oklahoma Baptist University on Monday night.
    Senior Jason Taylor scored 19 points during the second half to finish with a game-high 24 points while also grabbing six rebounds.
