Funeral services for Evelyn M. Hand, 90, of Edmond are scheduled for 11 a.m. today at Cathedral of the Hills Assembly of God. Interment will be at Memorial Park Cemetery.
Arrangements are under the direction of Matthews Funeral Home.
Hand was born Aug. 30, 1918. She died Thursday, Jan. 8, 2009, in Edmond.
Hand graduated from Capitol Hill High School. She traveled to Alaska, Ecuador and New Finland with her husband for his work at Pitts Engineering Company. She was a member of the Edmond YMCA and Cathedral of the Hills Assembly of God.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Forrest Hand; her parents, Clarence and Hester Birch; her sister, Mildred Miser; and her brother, Jack Birch.
Survivors include her son, Forrest Hand, four grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren.
