Martha Josephine Harris
1922-2008
Graveside services for Martha Josephine Harris, 85, of Oklahoma City, mother of Harriet J. Havenstrite of Edmond, are scheduled for 1 p.m. Friday at Memorial Park Cemetery in Oklahoma City.
Arrangements are under the direction of Vondel Smith Mortuary North.
Harris was born Dec. 17, 1922, in Lexington. She died Monday, May 5, 2008, in Oklahoma City.
Harris was one of 11 children and was a member of the Mayfair Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Emery and Callista Franks; and her husband, Roy Edmond Harris Jr.
Other survivors include three daughters, Pamela L. Nichols and Diana L. Hansen, both of Edmond, and Terri L. Davis of Oklahoma City; a sister, Mary Ellen Osgood of San Diego; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
