EDMOND — Lloyd Jordan
1931-2010
Funeral services for Lloyd Jordan, 78, of Edmond, are scheduled for 10 a.m. Wednesday at Matthews Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in Oklahoma City.
Jordan was born Jan. 19, 1931, in Oklahoma City. He died Saturday, Jan. 16, 2010, in Edmond.
Jordan attended Putnam City schools and Oklahoma City University. He served four years in the military. He retired from the U.S. Postal Service in 1986 and was a deacon at Highland Park Baptist Church in Edmond.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Ava Jordan.
Survivors include his wife, Carmelita Jordan of Edmond; his sons, Gene Jordan and Gary Jordan, both of Edmond; his brother, Jack Jordan of Ada; and one granddaughter.
